Wheel- Play: One- Day Exploratory Throwing Workshop
This one day workshop led by Amanda Hickey, is designed for potters who are beyond the basics and looking to fix some bad habits, learn something new, experiment and fill in the gaps in your skills. Spend a day playing on the wheel without the pressure to produce “finished” work.
We will focus on process over product, encouraging curiosity, personal exploration and push your boundaries with practice. Hopefully this class will renew your connection to the wheel and boost your creativity! Clay is included. Pots will be cut in half for further education and skill building. There won’t be any pots kept in this class.
Date: Saturday July 26th. Class will start at 10 am and will run until 4 pm. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, small towel and an apron!
