About the Workshop: Join special guest artist Christine Torres for a half-day deep dive into monoprinting on clay! This workshop is designed for potters who want to elevate their surface decoration game. Christine will guide you through the monoprinting process, allowing you to experiment with transferring intricate designs and textures onto clay surfaces.
What to Expect:
Focus on Decoration: This is a technique-building workshop. We will not be doing any wet clay construction or throwing during this session.
No Take-Home Project: Because this is purely a skills-based class, you will not be making a finished pot to take home. Instead, you'll walk away with a wealth of knowledge and new surface design skills to apply to your own studio practice.
Prerequisites: This class is great for potters of all levels, provided you already know the basics of working with clay. (Please note: This class is not designed for brand-new beginners).
