Cone 6 Glaze Chemistry with Chemist and Ceramic Artist Elise Chung.
This course will teach you the fundamental chemistry of how glazes work, how to mix your own from raw materials, and how to strategically modify them for custom results.
Please prepare and bring around 20 test tiles in the clay body of your choice. A variety is always exciting. We suggest a white, medium and dark body.
Please bring an apron and respirator or N-95 mask to each class. Respirators can be purchased at PSH or S&S Pottery Supplies for $52.95
